What vaccinations do you require?

Dogs: current Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo), and Bordetella. Cats: current Rabies and FVRCP. We'll happily accept records sent ahead by email or uploaded during online booking. If you're switching from another vet, just give us a heads up.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Just your pup (or kitty) and proof of vaccinations. Leashes are required in the lobby. If your pet has a specific shampoo, treat, or comfort item that helps them relax, feel free to bring it — we'll use it.

What's your cancellation and late policy?

Accepted Answer

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a 50% service fee. We hold a small deposit at booking that's applied to your final total.

Question 4

What about matted coats?

We never want to hurt a matted pet. If a coat is too tight or pelted to comb out humanely, we'll recommend a short reset cut and walk you through aftercare so the next groom is easier. We charge a small de-mat fee only when the work is genuinely time-intensive — and we always talk to you before starting.

Do you handle senior or anxious pets?

Yes — and it's something we take seriously. Marisol and Priya both specialize in older and anxious pets. We'll set the appointment up in our quieter room, build in extra breaks, and never push past what your pet is comfortable with.

Question 6

How long does a groom take?

Most full grooms run 2–3 hours from check-in to pickup. Bath & brushes are 60–90 minutes. We'll text you a photo when your pet is finished so you can swing by at the right time — no waiting room overstays.

Do you groom cats?

We do — and we have a dedicated cat-grooming room run by Priya, one of Houston's only certified Fear-Free feline groomers. Bookings are limited so we can keep the environment calm. Book online and select 'cat' to see her availability.

Where are you located and is parking easy?

We're on Studemont Street in The Heights with a free, gated parking lot right out front. Easy in, easy out — perfect for a quick drop-off.

Do you take walk-ins?

Nail trims and ear cleanings: yes, during posted walk-in hours (Tue–Sat, 10am–2pm). Full grooms and bath & brushes are by appointment only so we can give every pet the time they deserve.

How does online booking work?

Click any 'Book Now' button to open our booking widget. You'll choose a service, pick your groomer, see real-time availability, and confirm with a small deposit. You'll get a confirmation email and a reminder text 24 hours before your appointment.
